Q : Do I have to register at CNUDST to have access to electronic resources ?
R : No. As a member of the scientific community, you have access to electronic resources. However, to be in accordance with the license agreements signed with publishers, some restrictions on use have to be observed. See “Restricted Electronic Resources“.
Q : How to find out which journals are available in full text ?
R : You can search by journal title from REPERE, the electronic resource index that lists all the journals in alphabetical order.
Q : Why can’t I access to the full text of a journal ?
R : If you can’t access to the full text although the journal is published by the publisher to which we subscribe, the reasons are :
- the journal is not part of the subscription
- the journal is part of the subscription but the year of publication of the article requested is not covered by the subscription.
Q : I can’t access to electronic resources. I have to provide a username and password
R : First, be sure that the resource in question is included in the list of electronic subscriptions by consulting REPERE and that the year of publication of the article to download is covered by the subscription (chronological coverage is indicated in the instructions of the corresponding publisher).
It can be either an IP address recognition problems in your establishment or a password problem. In all cases, consult the IST coordinator at your institution. See “STI Coordinators Network”.
